Oskari Sipola

Oskari Sipola is a Finnish director, writer and producer, known for his two feature films Urban Family (2015) and August (2011). He wrote and directed the hit series HasBeen (2018–2019) for the Finnish Public Broadcaster Yle, and wrote and produced the series Bull by the Horns (2021) for Elisa Viihde Viaplay, the most watched show on the platform in the year of release. He has also guest directed multiple episodes, including for the acclaimed crime drama Welcome to Texas (2023). He was president of the Finnish director’s union from 2020 to 2022. The More Loving One is his third feature film.
