Milja-Liina Moilanen

Milja-Liina Moilanen is a filmmaker who deals with class society, silencing and themes of reification in her works. As an author, she tends to go towards topics that arouse general wonder or prejudice. In addition to My Reality, Moilanen directs two documentaries: Tip Rail (New Dawn, TBA) contemplates sex work as a way to rise in social class. “Epikset” (Wacky Tie Films, TBA) dives into the unbelievable world of successful festival disaster Bal des Incohérents that happened in Lapland in 2023.
