Mika Koskinen

lived and worked in China almost 2 decades to film the development of the country. He has directed and produced several internationally broadcasted and acknowledged feature length documentaries such as Zhang´s Diner which premiered at Nyon Visions du Reel main competition 2004 and Red Forest Hotel which premiered at IDFA 2011. After moving back to his old home country Finland he found out that there was a mining boom to produce nickel and other raw materials for China.
