Krista Hannula

Krista Hannula is a screenwriter, director and producer. She has studied screenwriting at Aalto University School of Arts and wrote and produced her first feature-length film Bastard in 2014 and her second A Mother in 2019. A Mother participated in several festivals around Europe, and received a nomination for the Finnish Jussi Award in 2020. Krista was also a producer on the feature film Wingman the movie: All in, which premiered in 2024 and became an instant box office success. Krista’s first reality series as a writer-director came out in 2023 on Yle and instantly got picked up for a second season. The Cave is Krista’s debut work as a short film director.
