Jussi Award nominees 2022 announced

A jury invited by Filmiaura selected the nominees for the 2022 Jussi Awards yesterday.

Altogether 18 domestic feature films and eight documentary films from 2021 were eligible. 15 films received nominations: Compartment no. 6 (12), The Gravedigger’s Wife (9), Fucking with Nobody (6), Vinski and the Invisibility Powder, (5), The Blind Man Who Did Not Want to See Titanic (4), 70 Is Just a Number (2), Invisible Demons (2), Walk the Tideline (2), How to Kill a Cloud (2), Omerta 6/12 (1), Tale of the Sleeping Giants (1), Wedding of the Century (1) and short films Nesting, Goodbye Tornio ja A People’s Radio – Ballads from a Wooded Country.

The members of Filmiaura will vote on the winners. The Jussi Awards Gala will be in Helsinki on May 6, 2022.
