Additional support to film productions suffering from the Covid-19 pandemic
The Finnish Film Foundation will grant additional production support to those productions that have extra expenses due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The total sum reserved for this support is 1 million euros.
All productions that have previously received production support from The Foundation are eligible. The support is granted for realized and paid additional costs caused by the Covid-19 pandemic between March 15 – September 30, 2020. The costs may be caused, for example, by the postponing of the shoot or the increased hygiene demands.
The deadline for applications is October 20, and The Foundation’s Board will make the decisions on week 51.
