Description:

A coma sends an old man into his childhood´s sinister fantasy world, where he must fight dementia and gain back his memories before it´s too late.

An old composer and a musician, Tom has lived a long and prosperous life he cannot remember. He suffers from dementia and still thinks he´s a young boy. Once Tom gets a stroke and slips into a coma, he travels back to his childhood´s fantasy world where his dementia is disguised as a cunning, but sinister snowman. As Tom escapes deeper into the dream, he encounters events where his imagination mixes with the reality and his past. Simultaneously in the real world, Tom´s daughter, Gem, is trying to discover the mysteries of her father´s life through his last written song. As she´s had a distant and bitter relationship with her father for years, she begins her search reluctantly. Eventually one single element brings them closer to each other. In the coma, Tom must find a way to defeat the snowman, to rebuild his memories and to gain his daughter´s love before it´s too late.

Imaginarium is a music fantasy film with the original score by Nightwish. The movie is produced alongside Nightwish´s upcoming album with the same title.
