The Last Chapter

Elämän syksy

Details

As immigrants age, they face a profound second culture shock marked by loneliness, distance from loved ones, and a disconnection from their homeland's memories. Justine is a retired pharmacist from Uganda, Sisto a Sudanese refugee, and Ben Allal a Moroccan artist. They have all lived most of their adult lives in Finland. Their stories explore the universal challenges aging immigrants face, highlighting the emotional and practical struggles of growing old far from their roots.
