Concrete Night collected most Jussi Awards
The best domestic films of the year 2013 were awarded in Jussi Gala on Sunday, February 2. The awards were given by Filmiaura, the association of Finnish film professionals. Pirjo Honkasalo’s Concrete Night collected a total of six awards including the award for the best film. The audience award, a prize voted by the public, went to 21 Ways to Ruin a Marriage.
Jörn Donner was awarded with Concrete Jussi for his life-time work.

Jussi Awards have been given since 1944 and they are considered as the oldest European film awards. The gala was broadcast live via Finnish TV channel MTV3.
